Discover ALTEN Belgium from Lisa’s point of view, our colleague who works for the Life Sciences division for now two years. Through this testimonial, she is telling us how our team is investing and listening to our consultants and why she is enjoying her project.

“I was convinced by a friend who already worked at ALTEN to have a conversation. From the very first meeting with the company and the people I spoke to at the time, I felt that ALTEN was a company that is very committed to its employees and listens to its consultants.

The energy invested in each consultant is very tangible. During the follow-up in which both positive and negative project-related matters are discussed, the consultant’s wishes are actually listened to. I also think the opportunities to participate in sports events, such as the Spartacus Thor race, are fantastic. This also ensures that, even though I am (for the time being) the only consultant at the client, I can still keep in touch with my colleagues from ALTEN.

What I also like about ALTEN is the no-obligation opportunity to develop yourself as a consultant with the help of training courses. Mainly the aspect of listening to each other and being appreciated by the manager and vice versa.

First for ALTEN, I started a medical-device company that assembles in vitro diagnostic test kits, located in Zwijnaarde.  . As a project engineer I am responsible for selecting, validating and commissioning all kinds of equipment. The nice thing about the project is that every day looks completely different and that there is a lot of variability in my job. Also the family feeling that is strongly present here, is something I find very pleasant!”
