To strengthen its services, ALTEN International is actively looking for a “Business Manager Life Sciences” to further strengthen the ALTEN organization.
The Business Manager has a key role within the organization. It is a position with strong responsibilities and the development of the company depend on it. We are looking for top executives to strengthen our organization.
The three main activities will be:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Creating new business opportunities by prospecting new customers
- Optimizing business profitability with mid-size accounts and named account
- Closing offer deals on service-based contracts (fixed-price, SLA-based, delivery-based) or on time-based contracts (delegation of consultants)
HUMAN RESSOURCES
- Selecting & recruiting your new consultants’ team
- Being in charge of the consultant career evolution (annual review, training…)
MANAGEMENT
- Being in charge of your own team of consultants
- Supervising the financial status of your activity
- Organizing & coordinating the commercial relationships with your partners
- French or Dutch native speaker, fluent in English
- You have a Master Degree in Business or in Scientific field (i.e. Engineering, Pharmacy or Biotechnology)
- You have between 1-2 years of experience in Life Sciences or in sales
- You have a passion for new technologies and you are a good listener and communicator.
- You are proactive and especially organized as well as you have an autonomous personality who can manage his/her own priorities.

Your work is mainly focused on the expansion of the business, in which you are involved in setting up and developing your client portfolio, creating your own team of consultants and being the head of your business unit, guaranteeing the perennity of the business and the profitability of your own activities.
